CREATIVE THOUGHTS OF BUSINESS SUCCESS
The Necessities of Business Advertising
© 2006 dezignbiz.com
Yes... in general, it's a big world out there.
A VERY big world. But from the eyes of a
small business owner and professional merchant,
your eyes will sense and see something totally
differently, as your view of the professional
world is seen from whole a different angle...
and the very same world that we speak of,
is not so big after all.

In fact, on your side of the street, it may
be just a little too cramped for your style,
and abit too close for comfort. Everything that surrounds you - is competition.
Your every day is simply survival... wondering
where your next dollar will come from, what
item will sell best this week, who will be
the next buyer, and where will your buyers
come from. If there is anything that every new business
owner should focus on DAILY - is the importance
of advertising, advertising, advertising
and more advertising. Eventually smart advertising
and advertising dollars graduate to the next
level of research, marketing and promotion.
But the moral of the story is - advertising
is the pure basics. Without advertising -
there IS no business.
"85% of your business is spent on bringing
in potential buyers. The other
15% is making
the sell."
In general, it doesn't matter how large your
business is, how many fancy neon
lights you
decorated your store with, or
the amount
of quality items are discounted
at a special
price. It all doesn't matter
- especially
when no one knows that your store
exists.
If the word doesn't get out on
a REGULAR
basis, you can be guaranteed
that your business
is not going to survive. For
an example....
you are driving, and you discover
that you
are hungry (thanks to those hypnotic
messages
from restaurant signs). "Taste"
SHOULD be your first decision
maker... like
what you are in the mood to have
for lunch
- but it doesn't always happen
that way.
(Thanks to clever Advertising
and Design).
You may be ready to grab some
Chinese, but
the parking lot is more busier
than the place
with the "big red cowboy
hat".
But 'Chinese artwork" (Usually
a popular
logo itself) has a way to imagine
that you
can already taste the fried rice.
One quick
glance and that "big bucket
of chicken"
can almost steals your appetite.
And more
than most would like to admit
- there's a
comfortable feeling when you
come in contact
with those "big golden arches".
"Advertising IS survival."

This is the kind of advertising that I tend
to get more excited over - Advertising
Design.
It is what makes your business
look different
or stand-out from the rest. With
the clever
design of these logos - I probably
didn't
have to name one restaurant in
my example
above. The advertising and design
or just
the logo - did it - all by itself.
Smart advertising and clever design is a
big chunk of the survival game.
Without introducing
yourself to the public, or standing
out from
your competition, you can look
like another
"Joe's Diner" and blend
right in.
My artistic goal is to REALLY KNOW your goal,
your products, and services.
I get familiar
with what you have to offer,
study it, and
use my interpretation to the
best of my knowledge
to successfully expose your business
personality.
I help you find your business
identity -
and to determine how to make
that personality
shine. What I create and design
for you -
will be how others will see you
and your
products or services. It's a
good idea for
me to get familiar with the business
and
the business owner, as knowing
both - will
create the dynamic blast of energy
needed
to succeed in the course of design
and promotion.
As a graphic artist and designer,
my visual
interpretation and style of design
will want
to project a positive image that
draws buyers
- to you. As the real moral to the story is that I
have something that can't be
packaged in
a pretty box - which is cleverness
and imagination.
But investing time and money into your business
image and business advertising
is the very
thing that COMFORTS and NURTURES
growth and
revenue.
