As a graphic artist and graphic designer,
I have a trained artistic eye for design
and will able to create something that works
well for your particular business advertising
needs. Graphic design is - Visual Communication
- or communicating by only visuals, and I
like to use this for commercial or advertising
purposes. Graphic arts and design is a genuine
craft that is based on the mental skills
of technological thinking and imagination
to come up with a look that is clever or
unique. Depending on what the artist decides
on as the best interpretation to represent
your business, their creative imagination
and skills will take text or images to communicate
clearly with your potential buyers.
Usually the commercial artist should have
a number of questions during a one on one
consultation that is necessary to know and
understand your business. As those questions
are answered, the artist's mind begins churning
with all sorts of ideas. Once the ideas come
into the picture, and ideas become more refined
or defined - the graphic designer will use
their education, experience, knowledge, talent,
and additional creative and technological
skills to put those thoughts onto paper.
These additions are discovered through the
designing process with the use or creation
of specific graphics and illustrations, individual
text or fonts (typography) to create a personalized
look.
This is the "how we begin"
process
to communicating what our thoughts
are "seeing".
This includes not only the page
layout, but
also the layout of the images
and text, the
use of colors, complimentary
colors, spacing
of images versus text on the
page or design,
the size of the text and images
to create
uniformed balance that is easy
on the eye,
the balance of the page itself,
digital image
and photo enhancement, which
can include
creative text writing, text editing,
blurbs,
and slogans that go well with
the information
that we are trying to define.
Most of us
who are visually skilled - are
able to design
within our minds and imagination
- without
having any need to draft or sketch
our plan
and ideas onto paper. We can
sketch, imagine,
and re-arrange images in our
mind and pre-work
the problem mentally.
